Here are just a few of the types of sessions we can offer you...

Linocut

This is a form of relief printing using cutting tools, Lino (or an equivalent surface), inks and a press.

Learn how this traditional art can produce striking images.

Gelli print

A fairly new form of printing, gel printing is great fun and offers lots of different ways to produce colourful papers and images which can be just mono prints or used  in mixed media/collage

Collage

Using prepared papers or making your own, explore how collage can be used to produce recognisable or abstract images. Use in a multitude of ways from covering objects to making cards and large scale pictures.

Digital Art*

Use of technology in art is a massive field. If you have an IPad or tablet, there are many applications out there which help you to create stunning images. We look at how one app can be used simply to do this.

(*IPad needed!).

Painting

Painting images can use many different mediums. We use pastels, crayons and acrylics, either as mixed media or as stand-alone products.

Our local environment provides much inspiration, from pretty houses to forests and lakes.

Card making

Working on a small scale using any of the methods mentioned here, card-making can be such fun and so satisfying! Making a set of greetings cards for your friends and family can be easier than you think with such pleasing results!
